NURSING POSITIONS

 

 

2/24 CaRDIOLOGY SERVICE NURSE, RN Provide direct patient care in the performing of cardiac stress tests These include basic stress, stress echo, stress cardiolite, pharmacological stress tests, Holter monitors and 30 event monitors. Hours of employment will vary based on volume. Requirements include an unrestricted North Carolina RN license, BLS, and ACLS required. Must have excellent Cardiac Rhythm interpretation and previous cardiac testing experience. PRN

 

2/10 FIELD RN CASE MANAGER This Home Health nursing position requires excellent assessment skills and competencies in several areas, with emphasis in recent psychiatric nursing.  Wound care, infusion, patient teaching and disease management are also expectations of this job. RN must be licensed in NC and have recent nursing experience (within last 3 years) in an acute treatment unit in a psychiatric hospital, psychiatric home care, psychiatric partial hospitalization program or other outpatient psychiatric services. Preferred candidate to have Home Health experience and electronic record documentation. FT

 

2/24 HOME HEALTH CASE MANAGER NURSE, RN  Responsible for Case Management of Home Health patients in collaboration with therapists, aides and SW as ordered. Requirements include RN licensure in NC.  Experience in Med-Surg or other nursing for at least 1 year.  Computer literacy required for point of care documentation.  Demonstrated assessment and critical thinking skills. Prefer Home Health experience, and knowledge of McKesson Horizon software. FT

 

3/16 NURSE-PHP/IOP Responsible for admission health assessments and oversight of medical needs for patients in partial hospitalization and outpatient psychiatric setting. Will perform group education and assist with ensuring patient follow-up as ordered by the physician. Requirements include an unrestricted North Carolina RN license required. Psychiatric nursing experience preferred. FT

 

1/19 CIRCULATOR NURSE, RN Provides direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patient populations.  Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory.  Participates in performance improvement activities.  Assesses operating room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.  Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure. Requirements include current unrestricted NC, RN license with current BCLS certification. Must have 1 year current Operating Room experience. PRN

 

10/6 NURSE PRACTITIONER Needed for inpatient & outpatient clinics to start immediately. Psychiatric experience preferred but not required. Requirements include current unrestricted nursing license in the state of North Carolina. FT

 

3/16 GERIATRICS NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT Needed for Park Ridge Geriatrics. Requirements include current unrestricted nursing or PA license in the state of North Carolina. Previous experience working with Nursing Home patients a plus. PT

 

 

 

 

HOSPITAL POSITIONS

 

3/16 DIRECTOR OF FOUNDATIONS   Responsible for the planning and direction of fundraising for the Hospital. Determines opportunities for development, researches potential prospects, and writes proposals. Represents the Hospital to potential constitutes providing information regarding the Hospital’s fundraising activities and programs. Prepares and presents reports and analysis of fundraising activities, contributions, degree of achievement and recommendations to Administration, CEO, and Governing Body. Manages the administrative responsibilities of the department including staffing, hiring, termination, and department budget. Requirements include a Bachelors Degree. Must have a minimum of five years experience in fundraising, public relations, marketing or related field. Prefer candidate to be proficient on all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing fundraising activities. Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification preferred. FT

 

3/16 EXECUTIVE ADMININSTRATIVE ASSISTANT Needed to assist three Vice Presidents in administration by performing assigned executive duties and a wide range of complex secretarial duties.  Must handle problems and questions with competence and relate well with patients and their families, associates, department managers, and medical staff. Must be able to organize work efficiently and multitask. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent; prefer a candidate with an Associate Degree in a related field; excellent typing, transcription, word processing, strong computer skills, and have superior phone etiquette skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Must have a minimum of three years experience supporting executives. Prefer candidates to have video editing experience, a background in healthcare, and be bilingual. FT

 

3/9 SOCIAL WORKER/ THERAPIST- PHP/IOP Responsible for providing social service functions in the behavioral health care setting. Provide assessments, therapies and case management to a patients and families.  Is a resource person to healthcare professionals concerning psycho-social problems. Coordinates discharge planning beginning on the date of admission for each patient. Provides group therapy and oversight of the PHP/IOP program according to programming needs, and as directed by the Department Director. Requirements include MSW. Prefer candidate to have LCSW. FT

 

1/19 MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST/ MEDICAL TECHNICIAN Perform lab tests in all discipline of the department. Requirements: Associate or Bachelors with national certification from ASCP or equivalent.  Prefer candidate to have 3-5 years experience in all areas and have function as a generalist in a lab before.  Cerner LIS experience Preferred. PT  

 

1/19 PHLEBOTOMIST Perform blood draws on inpatient and outpatients. Requirements include High School Diploma or Equivalent. Completion of Phlebotomy course and certification preferred. 1-3 years experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, computer requirements for the LIS system is required. Must be willing to work all shifts and days to include weekends. Must be available to respond on short notice. PRN

 

3/16 OP/IP CODER- Responsible for analyzing all medical records assigning accurate ICD-9-CM and CPT codes to ensure appropriate hospital reimbursement and adherence to coding guidelines. Responsible for accurate abstracting of all patient information. Requirements include High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have proven coding skills, previous medical records, and hospital experience. Must have completed Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology and Specialized Coding Classes or equivalency in experience. Prefer candidate to have CCS, RHIT, or RHIA. FT

 

12/23 RESPIRATORY THERAPIST will perform all aspects of respiratory care including arterial blood gases and ECG’s.  Requirements are current NC RCP license, BLS, and NRP. Cerner experience preferred.  Prefer ACLSFT

 

 

3/16 HOME OXYGEN DRIVER TECH Responsible for the delivery, set-up and pick up of DME equipment, supplemental oxygen products, and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area. Requirements include a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have a valid North Carolina Driver license with a clean driving record. Prefer candidate to have previous Home Medical Equipment delivery experience. FT

 

9/22 ENGINEERING MECHANIC Duties include HVAC Technician Boiler, Chiler, Air Handler Maintenance and Repair experience required. Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent, strong HVAC skills, and 3 years of maintenance experience. On call required 30 minute response time to the hospital required. FT

 

MEDICAL ASSOCIATE POSITION

 

3/4 PRMA PHLEBOTIMIST  Responsible for providing phlebotomy duties in a physicians medical office. Requirements include High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have 1 year phlebotomy experience. PRN
