Nursing Positions

CNAII/Secretary, Emergency Department: 
secretary needed for the ER department. Requirements include CNAII certification and BLS. Must have strong clerical and multi-tasking skills. Experience working with First Net a plus. FT.

Emergency Department Staff Nurse, RN: 
Responsibilities include delivery of care to ER patients, triage, assessment, interventions and discharge teaching. Requirements include current NC RN license, ED experience, BLS, ACLS and PALS. Prefer CERNER experience. PRN.  

Urgent Care, LPN: 
LPN needed to assist physician with procedures and other duties as assigned. Requirements include a current LPN license in NC, IV certification, BCLS certification and experience in a medical office, hospital or urgent care facility. PT. ience preferred. FT

HOPE Behavioral Health Nurse, RN: 
As member of an interdisciplinary team duties will include assessment, care, administering medication, treatment planning and care coordination. Requirements include a current, unrestricted RN (ADN or BSN) license in NC. Strong medical, IV and computer skills a must. Must have experience working with elderly in acute setting and behavioral skills. 12 hour shifts. PRN, all shifts available including weekends. Short call availability required.

Oncology Nurse, RN: 
Needed for quickly expanding oncology practice and infusion center. Requirements include a current, unrestricted RN license in NC, IV skills, Chemotherapy and biotherapy certification preferred. Great opportunities for continuing education provided. PRN.

Clinical Auditor Nurse, RN: 
Position audits all IP, Observation and outpatient accounts to ensure that patients are appropriately billed for all chargeable items indicated in the medical/clinical record. Understands charge process in Cerner. Identifies charge and/or documentation problems, through audits or various other reports and, either makes corrections, and/or routes charge or documentation issues to appropriate departments. Requirements include RN or LPN license with clinical informatics experience who have worked a minimum of 3 years hospital clinical experience. Must have strong computer skills, strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work at a detail level while understanding the overall system. Must be process oriented and have audit experience. Management experience is required. Must have Cerner and/or Series experience and Charge Master experience. Working knowledge of patient care operations as they related to patient billing and not for correction. Works with various departments to resolve charge or documentation issues and follows up to ensure that appropriate corrections are made such that bills are able ti be dropped in a timely manner. FT.

Hospital Positions

Cardiology Services Project Coordinator:
Responsible for ECG's, IV insertion and removal, holter monitors, diagnostic testing including but not limited to GXT, Nuc Med, TT, Echo, assist in Cardiopulmonary Rehab. Responsible for patient education in the department, on the floor and in the community. Assess participant's present pulmonary status. Requirements include current NC Registered respiratory therapy license, BCLS, ACLS, previous experience in cardiovascular diagnostic stress testing, experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, EKG monitoring and IV insertion. Must have strong communication skills, be team oriented and available to be on call every third weekend. FT.

 

Patient Account Representative, WNC Home Oxygen: 
Duties: home medical equipment billing and customer service. Requirements include High School graduate or equivalent, detail oriented team player, customer service and computer skills. Medical billing experience preferred. PT (Monday-Thursday, 10am to 4:30pm). 

 

Foundation Events Officer: 
Responsible for planning, design, budgeting and execution of all fundraising events and related events, including the solicitation for funds, identification, recruiting and management of volunteers. Also includes responsiblity for overseeing the development of marketing and collateral materials and public relations efforts for each event. Requirements include a Bachelors degree and 3 years fundraising experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Prefer candidate with skills in Raiser's Edge data base software. FT. 

 

EEG Technician: 
Technician needed to perform EEG's studies on Inpatients and Outpatients as ordered by MD. Requirement include BLS, prior experience performing EEG's, good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Certification in EEG and prior experience performing EEG studies s preferred. PRN. 

Certified Hyperbaric Tech: 
Needed in Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care department. The suitable candidate will be required to perform diagnostic and therapeutic hyperbaric function and some wound care for our patients. The qualified candidate should have excellent patient communications and interactive skills, at least one year of direct patient care experience and one year of experience in hyperbaric chamber operations. Requirementsare CHT and BLS certifications. PRN.

Registered Sleep Technician: 
Duties include performing sleep studies and other sleep related testing as needed. Requirements include a registered sleep tech certification and BLS. Must have strong computer skills. Experience preferred. FT, nights (no weekends or holidays required). 

Medical Associate Positions

Front Desk/Scheduler, SEFR:   
Answer phones, schedule, greet patrons, check in/out, basic front desk and performing nightly closing procedures. Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent and strong computer skills. FT (Monday-Friday 1:30pm-9:00pm, occasional Saturday).

Clinical Team Leader, LPN:  
Oversee orthopedic clinic flow and patient care process. Responsible for direction and scheduling of office medical assistants. Requirements include current NC LPN license, 2 years previous clinic experience required. Orthopedic experience a plus. FT.

Medical Receptionist: 
Check in and registration of patients in a fast paced office. Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent, excellent references demonstrating outstanding customer service skills, computer speed and accuracy. Must have 1 year experience. FT.  

Certified Athletic Trainer-Orthopedic: 
Assigned to sports medicine clinic with specific responsibility for patient bracing and casting. Must be certified athletic trainer with 2 years work experience. Sports medicine experience preferred. FT.

Orthopedic Surgery Scheduler SESM:  
Works with hospital to schedule physician surgery time and makes entries into computer system. Ensures required testing is scheduled prior to surgery. Returns patient phone calls related to surgery. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, must have extensive experience with surgery scheduling. Strong computer skills and ability to multi-task are a must. FT. 

Medical Receptionist LPMC:  
Responsible for answering phones, data entry, scheduling and filing for a busy clinic with multiple providers. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and strong customer service skills. FT.

Physician Assistant-Orthopedic:  
Certified Physician Assistant needed at Southeastern Sports Medicine, a well-established group with 5 Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants. Duties include outpatient clinic, sports injury clinic within office setting and surgical assisting. Requirements include PA certification and 2 years orthopedica experience. FT.
