Nursing Positions
Behavioral Health/Special Care Tech, CNA II:
Will provide direct patient care and unit clerk duties for the Behavioral Health Unit. Requirements include a current, unrestricted NC CNAII license and previous unit clerk experience. Days, FT.
OR Charge Nurse, RN:
Responsible for supervising and directing day to day activities in the Operating Room. Requirements include an unrestricted NC RN license. Must have 5 years OR and 2 years management experience with ACLS, PALS and BLS certification. FT.
Critical Care Nurse, RN:
Needed to coordinate care of patients in the intensive care unit and telemetry unit with the capability to interpret ECG strips, titrate drips and care of the critically ill patients. Requirements include an unrestricted NC RN license (ADN or BSN). Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have strong computer skills. FT.
Labor and Delivery Nurse, RN:
Experienced RN needed to work in Labor and Delivery. The unit is combined with a Level 1 nursery. Willing to learn stabilization of newborn after delivery and potential transport to a tertiary care center as needed. Requirements include current, unrestricted NC RN license. Minimum 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery and BLS. Preferred candidate to have NRP, STABLE and ACLS certification. FT nights.
Case Manager CAP, RN:
Responsible for ordering, coordinating and monitoring CAP/DA care and services, as applicable, CAP/CHOICE care and services, as approved with client's Plan of Care. Requirements include current, unrestricted NC RN license. Proficient in English writing and speaking. Prefer public health experience with knowledge of CAP programs and applicable Medicaid regulations. FT.
Behavioral Health Intake Admissions Coordinator, RN:
Evaluation of psychiatric clients; coordination of admissions and utilization management of existing clients. Requirements: current, unrestricted NC RN license with one year of Behavioral Health Nursing experience. Computer skills required. PRN.
PACU Nurse, RN:
Registered nurse who has the ability to take care of patients post-anesthesia within the peri-operative arena. Requirements include current, unrestricted NC RN license with current BLS and ACLS certification. Prefer PALS certification. Must be proficient in EKG rhythm interpretation. Must have strong critical thinking skills. Prefer candidate to have previous ICU or PACU experience. FT. Rotating call required.
Emergency Department Nurse, RN:
Responsibilites include delivery of care to ER patients, triage, assessment, interventions and discharge teaching. Requirements include current, unrestricted NC RN license. Must have previous ER experience with BLS, ACLS and PALS. Prefer candidate to have previous CERNER experience. FT.
Med/Surg CNA:
Assists patients with activities of daily hygiene, including postoperative care, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Requirements include a current, unrestricted NC CNA certificate and BCLS. FT and PRN, Days and nights.
Circulator Nurse, RN:
Must have the ability to circulate in all specialties, except open heart. Requires NC RN license with at least 2 years recent OR experience. Scrubbing experience preferred. FT, call required.
Behavioral Health Unit, CNA:
Needed to assist with activities of daily living, patient care and safety rounds for patients. Requirements include a current, unrestricted NC CNA license. FT.
Hospital Positions
Scrub Technician:
Responsible for preparing and assisting the surgeon during operative procedures. Requirements include graduation from an accredited scrub tech school and BLS. Certification as a scrub tech preferred. FT.
Chef:
Responsible for planning, ordering and preparing meals for a new 'Gourmet to Go' program. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience in the culinary field. Graduate of a culinary program is preferred. FT.
Cook:
Responsible for cooking and serving tray line food. Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years previous experience. PT.
Medical Technologist/Medical Technician:
Needed to perform specimen processing, testing and resulting. Requirements include graduation from an approved MT or MLT training program. Have MT or MLT certification or eligible for certificate. PRN.
Phlebotomist:
Needed to collect, order and process laboratory specimens for testing. Requirements include Phlebotomy certification or completion of a certification program and eligible for certification. PRN.
Medical Coder:
Responsible for performing skilled review of medical records and assigning appropriate codes while remaining within compliance of state, federal and JCAHO. Responsible for analyzing and assigning accurate ICD-9-CM and CPT codes to the medical records. Also will be responsible for accurate abstracting of all patient information. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and proven medical coding skills experience. Prefer candidate to have previous hospital medical records experience, RHIA, RHIT and CCS. FT.
Medical Associate Positions
Certified ATC, SESM:
Maintain all sports events in designated school and multi-task during clinic rotation. Requirements: Certified Athletic Trainer. FT.
Experienced Medical Receptionist PRMA:
Answering phones, check-in and out, filing, chart compliance and other clerical duties as assigned for busy office. Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent. Must have 1 year medical office experience. FT.
