The Baby Place at Park Ridge Hospital encourages women to create an empowering birthing experience. Our services range from traditional births to midwifery and include natural labor alternatives. At The Baby Place, babies stay with their mothers from the time of birth until discharge.
Park Ridge Women's Services offers complete obstetrics, gynecology and women's health services for women of all ages. In 2006 and 2007 Park Ridge Medical Associates was joined by three female OB/GYN physicians: Eileen Keppler, MD, FACOG; Ruchi Moore, MD; and Jeanette West, MD.
Since 2003 Park Ridge Hospital has assumed management and operation of the obstetrics and gynecology services offered at Henderson County's Blue Ridge Community Health Clinic. This clinic is funded by the Park Ridge Hospital Foundation and serves primarily uninsured and under-served women of all ages and races. Park Ridge Women's Services is staffed by Kelly Thompson, certified nurse midwife and family nurse practitioner, an ultrasonographer, a lab technician and a bilingual office staff.
