Park Ridge Hospital and the Arden Seventh-day Adventist Church will sponsor the 4th Annual Arden Community Health Fair over two days in January. The event, which is FREE and open to the community, will take place at the Arden Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 35 Airport Road on Sunday, January 20 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Monday, January 21 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The Health Fair will offer several free screenings including the following: Bone Density, Foot Screening, Pap Smear, Prostate Exam and PSA, Lipid Panel and Blood Glucose (12 to 14 fast is recommended for lipid and glucose testing), and Skin Cancer Screenings, Oral Cancer, Blood Pressure, Heart Rate and Body Mass Index. No appointments are necessary.
In addition, the Arden Community Health Fair will offer food samples, free massages, and more! Finally, for those who are interested in giving the gift of blood, the Red Cross Bloodmobile will be on site on Sunday, January 21st. Please call (828) 685-2344 to set an appointment.
