Have you been touched by cancer? Would you like to Fight Back? Here’s your chance. Park Ridge Hospital’s team of volunteers has begun recruiting team members and started fundraising for Fletcher’s Relay for Life event which will take place in July, 2008. Relay for Life is the primary fundraising event for the American Cancer Society.
Team Park Ridge will hold a fundraiser on March 7, 2008 from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm in the Duke Room at Park Ridge Hospital. This “Bake Sale & Media Sale” will be open to the community and will offer family friendly boks, CD’s, DVD’s, VHS, and cassette tapes. Also, any working equipment or systems including: videogame systems, VCR’s, DVD/CD players, and computers.
They are asking for donations from the community for this sale. Drop off points are as follows: Park Ridge Hospital’s front lobby, the medical office building lobby, the emergency room, and the Café on the ground floor. Donations are being accepted now through March 4th. If you are donating a high-priced item, please call to have it picked it up. Receipts are available for all donations for your tax records.
