Park Ridge Hospital Foundation began 2008 with three new board members.
            Tom Beeker is the City Executive in Fletcher, NC for Carolina First Bank.  He is a graduate of Mars Hill College where he attended on a Basketball Scholarship. Tom is currently the President of the YMCA Board of Directors, Hendersonville, NC.   He also enjoys coaching youth basketball and being a Cub Scout co-leader.  Tom is married to Angela Beeker who has a law practice of Whitmire & Beeker in Hendersonville.  They live in Flat Rock, NC with their two children, 7 and 4.
            Susan D. Laborde has lived in Hendersonville since 1991 with her husband, Dr. Robert Laborde, ophthalmologist and eye surgeon and their three daughters (ages 21, 19 and 12). At present, she is the practice manager for The Macula Center of North Carolina, the medical practice of Dr. Laborde.  She holds both a BS and MA degree from Louisiana State University. Since moving to North Carolina, she has served on many boards and committees for area non-profits, hospitals and schools.  Ms. Laborde is an avid gardener, competitive tennis player, and enjoys traveling with her husband and daughters.
            Lee C. Mulligan is a managing attorney of the Hendersonville office of Strauss & Associates, P.A., a firm specializing in Estate Planning, Asset Protection and Trust and Estate administration.  She holds a JD from New York Law School and a BA from New York University.  Currently, she is serving on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Henderson County, she is a Member of the Board of Directors of Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy, and serves on the Advisory Committee for the Community Foundation of Henderson County.
