Pastoral Care
Hospital-based ministry services:
- Anointing (upon request)
- ArrangeBaptisms upon request
- Arrange Communion upon request
- Crisis support to families, patients and staff
- Devotionals
- Grief counseling
- Meditation groups
- New patient visitation within 24 hours of admission
- Notify churches of patients who are in the hospital
- Spiritual support staff
- Visit all patients three times each week with the exception of those under inpatient psychiatric care
- Visit all surgery patients (with the exception of cataract patients)
Community-based ministry:
- Assist in smoking cessation programs
- Conduct funerals
- Grief counseling
- Home visits to former patients or patients under the care of home health services (upon request)
- Premarital counseling
